Periodontal treatment in the correction of bone and gingival defects

Periodontal treatment in the correction of bone and gingival defects

$30.00

Abstract

One of the signs of the most severe conditions of periodontal disease is tooth migration.

Osseous and gingival defects (infrabony defects, gingival recessions and papilla loss) are common features in such clinical situations.
Aims of the present course are:

  1. to provide sound basis of what is possible to do with conventional periodontal treatment to solve the above mentioned problems.
  2. to show the potential of a combined orthodontic-periodontal approach in achieving better results from both an esthetic and a functional point of view.

A schematic diagnostic process together with a step-by-step sequence of treatment will be proposed to clinicians facing these complex cases in their clinical practice.
